Haunted...
Somethings gone terribly wrong
Cant turn back now I'm haunted!
We all, well a lot of us out there not the Taylor Swift song haunted. But was if it was true? Not by a sad ex -boyfriend looking for revenge as in that case but by real live? Well not live ghosts! Well yeah i guess its to be expected when you live right next to a ghost town like I do but its scary! Hearing voices and stuff being moved lights turning on and doors closing and locking! It would be nice if it was some amazing story like Queen of the dead - Stacey Kade- who has an amazing website by the way(: But when your home alone and you here people talking its a reason to freak out. I guess though that if I had been dead for a long time and had to stick around I would probably be fooling around and freaking people out too! I mean how many people out there actually believe in ghosts?

Summer
My mom calls me, "the little poet". She says I'm good (all moms say that). She would know whats good in writing and whats not. Her picture book Bedtime Monster is coming out in September. You can visit her at Frolicking through Cyberspace. Enough about her though. I've been writing poems since I was really small. I love coming up with them. I wrote this a few days ago:
Summer
In the water everyday.
Kids splash, kids play.
The water so clear and blue.
What does summer mean to you?

Support
I know this blog is about reading and writing, but I have to support this. Reading and writing and cooking are my top three things. Enough about me. I'm sure you have all heard of Jamie Oliver's food revolution.
What Jamie has done in Huntington schools is amazing. He has introduced healthy food and taken away sugary cereals and flavored milk. Jamie first started a food revolution in Britain in 2004, having success he then started the Food Revolution in 2009. In 2008 Jamie realized that kids were eating just as bad at home as they did at school. He started the ministry of food and taught parents to cook. He has done a lot to improve school food and continues to. Support the cause! Sign the petition! 605,813 people have signed so far.
This has inspired and continues to inspire adults and children everywhere. School food has always been bad and it isn't going to get better without every one's help. This is helping to save kids lives. Help continue what Jamie has started and continues to pursue.

My Friend
This is one of my best friends,Lily Reid, from California. We have not seen each other in three years but she loves reading just as much as me. She agreed to tell me about her reading habits.
My favorite genre: childrens fantasy
My favorite place to read: on my couch with my dog and a blanket
while it is raining.
I dislike books that are written from movies but I think
that sometimes movies that are made from books are good.
I recommend Where the Mountain Meets the Moon by Grace Lin
